Refund policy

At CleverDuck3D, all products are made to order and many items are personalised specifically for each customer. Please read our policy carefully before purchasing.

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery only for:

  • Items that arrive damaged
  • Incorrect items received
  • Faulty or defective products

Due to the personalised and made-to-order nature of our products, we do not accept returns or cancellations for:

  • Personalised/customised items
  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect information provided by the customer
  • Minor colour or finish variations caused by the 3D printing process

Under UK consumer law, personalised or custom-made goods are exempt from the standard cancellation/right-to-return period unless the item is faulty or not as described.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the problem

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, offer:

  • A replacement
  • A repair
  • A refund

Return Process

Returns must be approved before being sent back.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Return instructions/address will be provided after approval and sent to you directly

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that banks and card providers may take additional time to process refunds.

Exchanges

As products are made to order, we do not offer direct exchanges.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.

European Union Customers

For customers in the European Union, the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to personalised or custom-made goods as permitted under Article 16(c) of the Consumer Rights Directive.

However, this does not affect your rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
